Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what happens to it. Last updated October 2026.
Who is responsible
This website is mine, Nasir Shafiq, Solicitor of England and Wales. Personal information you send through it is handled by me. You can reach me at [email protected].
What is collected
The enquiry form asks for your name, a phone or WhatsApp number, the type of matter, and a short description of what has happened. Nothing is collected unless you choose to send it. If you call, message or email instead, the information you give is handled in the same way.
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and does not track you across other sites.
Why it is used
Your enquiry is used to reply to you and to decide whether and how I can help. If you go on to instruct me, further information will be collected under a separate client care letter and privacy notice. Your details are not used for marketing and are not sold or shared for others' purposes.
How it is sent and kept
The enquiry form is delivered by a third-party form service, Web3Forms, which passes your message to my email and does not keep it for its own use. Enquiries that do not lead to instructions are deleted within twelve months. Enquiries that do become part of your client file and are kept for the period required by professional rules.
Your rights
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by emailing [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
